We will explore healthy strategies for sleeping, driving and optimize your workstation before surgery so that you have a game plan to follow after your surgery. Collapsed upper back posture causes collapsed pelvis posture which places excessive stress through the upper and lower lumbar spine. Movements from collapsed pelvis posture results in increased inflammation and pain post-surgery which negatively impacts your recovery. Improving your posture before your upcoming back surgery will reduce the amount of times you perform a task with collapsed pelvis posture. This reduces inflammation in the back which is the main source of pain, facilitating a more complete recovery.
